Okay, you got me; Jane isn't actually my name — it's my mother's! Trust me there's a good reason behind why I chose to use Jane rather than my own middle name. Photography to me is all about your story, your legacy, your personal history. At its core, my art is all about documenting your memories. Memories that will outlive us and be passed down through generations. Using my mother's name felt right. It felt fitting to use a family name for my art that is all about family. What I really want to capture is the feeling. the joy, the excitement, the nerves, the laughter, the tears. Combining the search for the feeling and an affinity for nostalgia, my work today is a balance of timeless artistry and natural authenticity. I hope to tell a story through my images that puts you right in the moment — shares with you the feeling and showcases the beauty in it all.
